SUCCESS IS SWEET.......

”SUCCESS IS A JOURNEY NOT A DESTINATION” it is a very famous line and I often use it when I speak. Sometimes we are confused as to what is success?  Once when I took an interview in Gitam College, I had asked a student to define success and satisfaction?  The answer he gave was amazing…….the boy told me that success is a feeling of contentment and satisfaction means when we decide to stop trying!!! He also emphasized that both are inter linked.

“Success “we do relate it with money too.  In fact, it is one of the most common GD topics! Money makes money in the same way……success brings success!!!!  Because it gives confidence to try new ventures also persuade to take risks.  When we say that we have attained success in a particular venture it clearly shows that we have kept a dead line for our hard work and perseverance.  In this way, there is no yard stick to measure the success rate!!!!!! Our own mind calculates and decides the target. Sometimes I think success also relates to state of mind, because it is derived out of belief, one’s potential, actions and results.

Handling success is also an art……people do get carried away with fame, recognition, respect and money when they are at the peak… it is very vivid that the “top” is always an isolated one. We may lose good friends, peace of mind and true happiness if we do not know how to showcase our attitude when we are leading a successful life. So I would like to say…..keeping ones emotions in control and maintaining a down to earth attitude is also a long term and never ending goal!! The test of behavior of a man is known, ” NOT when he has nothing in hand….however it is when he has everything and…how well he handles it with ease without hurting others”.

When I talk about success…there is another word attached to it…and it is failure! “If a man has not failed...then he has never lived”  this is my most inspiring line whenever  I am facing challenges  in my personal as well as professional life. We are here to live…..the fluctuations give us to realize our worth.  It is like…in an ECG report if the graph is not straight, which means the person is leading a healthy life...And the dead man’s report is just the opposite!!! So life will have hardships and it is we who should take it in our stride and sail…!!

At last I would like to conclude what is true success???
SUCCESS
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
